On 2/7/17 around 7:55am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Route D at 177th Street in rural Cass County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Jeep driven by 67 year old Enrique Chavez of Grandview, Missouri was stopped while attempting to turn into a private driveway when he was struck in the rear by the 1998 Honda driven by 23 year old Gregory Moore of Higginsville, Missouri.
Mr. Moore sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Honda was totaled in this wreck and towed from the scene by GT Tow.
