Two arrested after seach warrant in Nevada

For the second time this week Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 900 block of North Colorado Street during the late evening hours on February 8, 2017.

Officers had obtained information in regards to methamphetamine being used at the residence.

During the execution of the warrant, officers contacted two female residents of the home. During the search officers located what is believed to be suspected methamphetamine and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia.

During the course of the investigation officers took into custody both female residents and they were transported to the Vernon County Jail. The suspected methamphetamine will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol laboratory for further testing.

Earlier this week Nevada Police had served a search warrant in connection with a fugitive being at the residence that was identified as, 28 year old, Dustin Pike of Nevada. Also during the warrant officers located suspected methamphetamine and other related drug paraphernalia.

Officers were eventually able to apprehend Pike a few days later at a nearby residence.

The two suspects have been identified as follows; Nevada resident, 23 year old, Casey Brown. The following charges have been filed through the Vernon County Associate Court as follows; Possession of a Controlled Substance, D Felony, Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance, E Felony with a bond of $10,000 cash only.

Also, Nevada resident, 44 year old, Linda Walters. The following charges have been filed through the Vernon County Associate Court as follows Possession of a Controlled Substance, D Felony, Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance, E Felony with a bond of $7,500 cash only. Both Walters and Brown remain in the Vernon County Jail.
