On February 23, 2017, after a foot pursuit that lasted for approximately
three blocks, officers arrested Corey D. Brown, 37, of EI Dorado
Springs, for three active Cedar County Felony Warrants, charging him
with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Domestic Assault 2nd
degree, Robbery 1st degree, and Armed Criminal Action with no bond, a
warrant charging him with Failure to Appear to Two Counts of Domestic
Assault 2nd degree with no bond, and a warrant charging him with
Kidnapping 1st Degree, Domestic Assault 2nd Degree, and Resisting Arrest
for a Felony, with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance. Officers completed a probable cause statement for Resisting Arrest.
