- On 3/5/17, the Coroner responded to a residence on Cedar Lane in south Butler where a male subject had been found deceased in his home. Robert J. Stewart was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 3:25 PM; investigation determined the death due to natural causes.
- On 3/8/17, the Coroner responded to a field West of Butler on report of an explosion. Mr. Rusty Craft was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 4:55 PM with the cause of death being accidental in nature.
- On 3/10/17, the Coroner responded to the Bates County Memorial Hospital Emergency Department per protocol. An 86 year-old female had died due to natural causes.
- On 3/11/17, the Coroner responded to a rural location on BB Highway north of Ballard. A 48 year-old man, Clayton D. Pulliam, was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 8:21 PM. No further information can be released at this time.
- On 3/17/17, the Coroner responded to a residence on Gale Lane in Butler. Kathryn Brink was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 7:02 AM, with investigation determining death to be of natural causes.
- On 3/23/17, the Coroner responded to a residence on Clark St. in Butler. Marcia L. Minneman was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 4:20 PM, with investigation determining death to be of natural causes.
