Mary L. Robbins, age 90 years, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2017 also at the Chapel.

Mary Lorene Moree (Boyd) Robbins was born February 14, 1927 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of Robert L. Moree, Jr. and Macy (Ballew) Moree. She attended Clinton High School graduating in 1945. Mary was married to Charley F. Boyd on September 15, 1945 until his death in 1972. To this union two daughters were born: Mary Beth and Becky.

Aside from enjoying farm life raising hogs and cattle with Charley, Mary also worked outside of the home at Long Truck and Tractor, as a bookkeeper for Keith Kreissler, CPA for 32 years and ended her working career at First National Bank in 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Clinton cradle roll, giving her life to Christ and joining the church in 1935.

Music was a big part of Mary’s life wherein she enjoyed sharing her talent at church by singing in the choir, and playing the piano for her Sunday School class as well as senior living facilities.

Besides being involved in her church, Mary devoted time to the Clinton community by serving as the Treasurer of both the Clinton Senior Center Service Board and Nancy Calvird Shoe Fund.

On October 10, 1998, Mary and Robert Robbins, Sr. were married. During their 18 years of marriage they enjoyed traveling, area country music shows and social activities at the Clinton Senior Center. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Violet Long, husband Charley and just recently her husband, Robert.

Survivors include: Daughters Mary Beth Norman and husband Jerry of Olathe, KS; Becky Reser and husband, Ron of Branson, MO; her granddaughter Bethany (Waugh) Istas and great-grandson Bray Istas of Olathe, KS. Robert’s children and grandchildren, Robert Robbins, Jr., wife Pam and daughter Robin Beach and husband Jeremy; Linda Miller, husband Marvin and children Daniel Vaughn, Marva Miller, Jacob Miller and wife Amber, Samuel Miller; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kayla, and Kyle Miller, Jacob Carter, Trinity and Elijah Miller.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
