The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1993 Nissan driven by 57 year old Lisa K. Tucker of Rich Hill, Missouri failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of the 2015 Peterbilt semi truck driven by 50 year old James C. Lipe of Windsor, Missouri.
Lisa K. Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Henry County Coroner Office and she was transported to Vanzant Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
Mr. Lipe sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Impact Tow and Golden Valley Wrecker.
This is the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop A 21st Fatality Accident of 2017.
