The next chance of thunderstorms will arrive late tonight into Wednesday morning for northern Missouri.
More widespread thunderstorm chances will then arrive tomorrow evening along a cold front across the entire area.
The greatest severe weather potential will remain just north of Kansas City up to northeastern Missouri. This includes the potential for large hail and strong winds, mainly before midnight. While the severe threat will diminish after midnight, a line of thunderstorms will continue to move southeast, providing most areas with up to a quarter to half an inch of rain.
