Testing outdoor warning sirens in Adrian

If weather permits, the Adrian Fire Department will be testing the outdoor warning sirens on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm. Repairs were made on the siren located at business 49 & 7th street and to be certain that all sirens are working correctly, the sirens will run for the full approximate three minute duration. The department tests the sirens on the first Wednesday of each month (weather permitting) at 6:00 pm.

If the first Wednesday test cannot be completed, the test will be done on the second Wednesday of the month (weather permitting) at 6:00 pm.

Please remember that the sirens are outdoor warning sirens and may not be heard if you are inside. Always pay close attention to the changing weather conditions and do not depend solely upon the sirens as your warning to seek shelter. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
