The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1987 GMC 1500 truck driven by 19 year old Justin D. Cooper of Butler, Missouri failed to negotiate a intersection and traveled of the roadway into a creek.
Mr. Cooper sustained minor injuries on this accident and he was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and secured at the scene of the accident for a later tow.
