On 5/16/17 around 9:15am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County responded to a one vehicle accident on County Road 300 around two miles East of Roscoe, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1997 Chevrolet truck driven by 27 year old Cory L. Smith of Eldorado Springs, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a electrical pole.
Mr. Smith sustained serious injures in this accident and he was life lighted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
The vehicle was totaled and left at the scene for a later tow.
