Norma June Sayre

Norma June Sayre, born March 2, 1928 to Quay and Dessie Phipps in El Dorado Springs, Mo., went to our Father in Heaven on May 4, 2017. Norma formerly resided in Stockton, Mo. and later moved to Oak Grove, Mo. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin L. Sayre, her youngest son Myron L. Sayre, and significant other Harold Jinks Sharp. 

She leaves behind her children, David M. Sayre and wife Elaine of Lee’s Summit, Mo., daughter Theresa and husband Jerry Reinbold and granddaughter Megan of Oak Grove, Mo., son Wayne Sayre of Kansas City, Mo., sister Neva Arlene Buck of Richards, Mo., and her nieces and nephews. 

Norma was a 1946 graduate of Nevada High School and married her husband Marvin on September 12, 1946. She was devoted to her children and cared deeply for her family. The loss is greatly felt by all. Services Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Bland-Brumback Funeral Home with a visitation at 11:00 a.m.
