On 5/8/17 around 11:42am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri Z Highway just east of Route NN Highway in rural Henry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1973 Caterpillar 140 Road Grader driven by 74 year old Gary R. Gregory of Deepwater, Missouri was attempting to turn around in a private drive when he was stuck in the front tire by the 2014 Honda VT 1300 Motorcycle driven by 59 year old Timothy R. Payne from Humansville, Missouri.
Mr. Payne sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was life flighted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
The road grader was driven from the scene of the accident and the motorcycle was towed from the scene by Precision Tow.
