Public assistance needed in locating a vehicle that fled from law enforcement this morning

St. Clair County Sheriff Scott Keeler reported his office is seeking the public’s assistance locating a vehicle that fled from deputies this morning at approximately 7:15 a.m. near the Gerster area. The vehicle is a blue 1992 Dodge Dakota with front-end damage and possibly missing a hubcap. 

It is stolen out of Henry County and has a license plate of Missouri 8KY274, but it does not belong to this vehicle. 

The vehicle failed to yield to law enforcement officers in Hickory County and traveled into St. Clair County near T Highway. 

The vehicle failed to yield to St. Clair County deputies and traveled onto several county and private roads before evading law enforcement.
