Sobriety Checkpoint in Linn County Kansas

"Officers with the LaCygne Police Department, Linn County Sheriff's Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol will be conducting a joint sobriety checkpoint on Friday night, May 19th, 2017. 

The checkpoint will be held on K152 in LaCygne, Ks. Officers will briefly stop motorists to check their driver's license and registration. Those motorists who exhibit signs of possible impairment will be detained for further evaluation. 

It is anticipated hat the average motorist will not experience any excessive delay at the checkpoint. These sobriety checkpoints are routinely utilized throughout the State in order to deter and detect impaired driving."
