Traffic stop in Butler leads to arrest

On Tuesday, April 25, 2017, a Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2001 Honda Civic in Butler, MO. The driver, Quinton A. Miller (DOB 8/25/1996), gave consent for his vehicle to be searched. 

During the Deputy’s search he located several items that were used for inhaling drugs. He also found a baggie that had a clear crystalline substance inside it. 

All of the items found were field tested with a positive result for methamphetamines.

Miller was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine and was transported to the Bates County Jail.

Miller was charged with Possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. His bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety. He also received a citation for operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility.
