Two from Appleton City arrested in St. Clair County


On April 25, Alisha Ward, 27, Appleton City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging her with failing to pay fines on ordinance violations of driving without a license and no insurance. The warrants were issued on Sept. 20, 2016 and total bond is set at $400 cash only. The charges stems from an Appleton City Police Department investigation May 19, 2016

On April 25, Keith Bailey, 32, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class D felony possession of a controlled substance, class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrant was issued the same day and bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdictional Drug Task Force investigation the previous day at Bailey’s residence on East Third Street, Appleton City. During the investigation marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a white powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine were located.
