Drexel woman seriously injured in Bates County crash

On 6/11/17 around 7:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with assistance of the Bates County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident on County Road NW 14001 and County Road NW 16002 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1994 Honda Civic driven by 25 year old Ashley N. Thompson of Raymore, Missouri and the 2002 Ford F-150 driven by 42 year old Bradley R. Gulley of Amsterdam, Missouri both failed to yield at a uncontrolled four way intersection and collided.

A passenger in Ashley N. Thompson's vehicle 24 year old Kaitlyn L. Lasiter of Drexel, Missouri sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

Both vehicle received moderate damages and the Honda was towed from the scene by Adrian Tow.
