The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Subaru Forrester driven by 63 year old William E. Susoev of Humansville, Missouri ran off the left side of the roadway and struck the ground overturning.
A passenger in the vehicle 62 year old Mary T. Andra of Humansville, Missouri was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Mr. Susoev sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Bountiful Enterprises of Stockton, Missouri. This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 43 fatality of the year 2017.
