The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Pontiac driven by 42 year old Tina M. Hillman of Harrisonville, Missouri overcorrected and crossed the center line of the roadway and traveled off the left side of the roadway.
The 2004 Ford driven by 45 year old Christopher R. Marsh of Linn Creek, Missouri swerved to avoid a collision with Hillman's vehicle and traveled off the right side of the roadway.
Tina M. Hillman sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Life Flight to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicle were totaled and towed from the scene by Tolliver's Tow.
