Heat and Storms on Wednesday

The heat and humidity will continue one more day into tomorrow with a heat advisory in effect from noon until 8pm, mainly south of the Missouri River as cloud coverage and morning storms may help cool off northern Missouri.

A cold front will move down from the north Wednesday evening providing a chance for scattered strong to severe storms to develop.

The main threat for severe weather will be north of the Missouri River with damaging winds, heavy rain, and localized flooding being the main threats.

Cooler air will build into the area after this boundary passes through with highs in the lower to mid 80s expected through the weekend!
