Police Pursuit In Henry County ends in Cass County

Earlier today, officers of the Garden City Police Department were contacted by Henry County regarding a vehicle that had failed to stop for both Clinton Police Department and Henry County Sheriff’s Department. The vehicle was spotted northbound on 7 hwy and Garden City Police attempted to stop the vehicle. The car continued north on 7 hwy at speeds nearing 100 miles per hour. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol took the lead in the pursuit at about TT highway and Harrisonville Police Department was able to successfully deploy stop sticks at Orchard road and deflated the tires. The vehicle was finally stopped on the 7 Hwy 49 Hwy entrance ramp. 

The driver, a 41-year-old woman from Grandview, Missouri was taken into custody and transported to the Cass County Jail. She faces multiple charges including unlawful use of plates, speeding, failure to yield, driving while suspended, no insurance and several warrant for her arrest from multiple agencies.
