Raymore man killed in Motorcycle accident in Lees Summit

In the early morning hours of Saturday July 15th around 1:15am the Lees Summit Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and car at the northbound exit ramp to Missouri 291 and Northeast Colbern Road in Lees Summit, Missouri.

Authorities say the accident occurred when a car attempted to make a left hand turn infront of a motorcycle driven by 34 year old Ryan A. Prince of Raymore, Missouri.

Mr. Prince struck the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to Lees Summit Police Sgt. Chris Depue, Mr. Prince may have failed to yield to the vehicle. 

No citations have been issued in this accident. A full investigation is pending.
