Three injured in rollover accident 4 miles east of Appleton City

On 7/24/17 around 4:20pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County along with St. Clair County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route A around 4 miles east of Appleton City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 34 year old Christopher M. Gurley of Appleton City, Missouri lost control of the vehicle causing it to travel off the left side of the roadway and overturn, ejecting Mr. Gurley and a front seat passenger 24 year old Alexandria D. Moore of Osceola, Missouri from the vehicle.

Mr. Gurley along with passenger Alexandria D. Moore both sustained serious injuries in this accident and both was transported by Eagle Two Air Ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

A third passenger in the vehicle 44 year old Woodrow W. Gray of Appleton City, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident but he refused medical treatment at the scene.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Bray's Tow of Osceola, Missouri.
