From the Belton Police Department

From the Belton Police Department: In the area of Kentucky Trail Elementary today officers were looking for a suspect who was involved in an alleged aggravated assault and was on foot. 

For precautionary reasons the police department advised Kentucky Trail to lock their facility down as a precautionary measure. The suspect was never on school property and was later apprehended by officers.
