KBI makes arrest in Kansas Murder

The KBI and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of California authorities, made an arrest connected to the murder of Matthew Schoshke, which occurred earlier this month in Tescott, KS. Robert Colson, age 34, was recently arrested in Contra Costa County, CA for first degree murder. 

After Schoshke's truck was located, KBI agents and Sheriff Coleman spent most of last week working with Los Angeles Police Dept. homicide detectives to identify the suspect and to locate him. 

We are extremely proud of the agents in our Northeast region for working so hard to make an arrest in this case, despite the several other homicide and violent crime investigations they are also working.
