Sally was the youngest of six siblings Paul, Darrell, Betty, Mary, and an infant sister who have all preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Joseph Darrell Alexander and his wife Stephanie, her grandson Mason Alexander and other beloved family.
Sally graduated from Nevada High School and began her career life as a telephone operator with Ma Bell in December 1957. She worked there until she retired after over 25 years of service. She then enjoyed working at Cox Medical Center as a receptionist until her full retirement in 2015. Sally enjoyed yard work, reading, bible study and eating out with friends and family. She had a soft spot for animals and hot dogs over a good fire pit. Her heart’s desire at the end of her life was to be reunited with her parents and siblings and we rejoice as a family that she is no longer suffering even though she will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
