Six people injured in Benton County Accident

On 8/15/17 around 3:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Benton County along with Warsaw Fire and Benton County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Route K around 1 miles south of Missouri 83 Highway in rural Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 Ford Fusion driven by 17 year old Mikayla P. Andrews of Warsaw, Missouri crossed the center line and was struck by the 2010 Ford F-150 driven by 47 year old Adrienne M. Gardiner of Wheatland, Missouri.

Mikayla P. Andrews along with three passengers in her vehicle 14 year old Colton Andrews, 16 year old Sam Andrews and 43 year old Tanya R. Andrews all of Warsaw, Missouri all sustained moderate to serious injuries in this accident and all were transported to to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield for treatment.

Adrienne M. Gardiner along with a passenger in her vehicle 5 year old Rachel E. Gardiner of Wheatland, Missouri both sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospiral in Sedalia for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Tolliver's Towing.
