Update: No injuries after plane crashes in rural Cass County

On Aug. 5 at approximately 0800 hours, a deputy with the Cass County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the 32000 block of South Nelson Road in rural Drexel in regard to a report of an airplane that had crashed.

The pilot of the plane who was identified as Robert C. Richley, stated he did not have any injuries. 

The incident was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Federal Aviation Administration was contacted.
