Vehicle fire on I-49

The Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident of the northbound lanes of I-49 around Mile Marker 124 which is North of Rich Hill.

The van ran off the roadway and down a embankment, catching fire. The occupants were able to escape the vehicle without injuries.

A investigation is pending at this time and we will update when more information is available.
