Warming Trend Ahead

Through the first 11 days of August, this is the second coldest August on the 130-year record for KC. We have also now had 15 consecutive days of below normal temperatures. That trend will continue through the weekend and into early next week before temperatures return to near normal by mid-week. 

With the return of the heat, will also come the return to stormy conditions. Several rounds of storms are expected through the next work/school week with the chance for strong to severe storms possible Tuesday night and Wednesday night...just in time to make those kiddos sleepy for day #1!
