The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Ford Taurus driven by 16 year Makenzie M. Sellers of Harrisonville, Missouri steered to the right to avoid a vehicle that was in her lane and slid off the roadway before striking a tree.
Makenzie M. Sellers sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by private vehicle to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville for treatment.
The vehicle received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
