A new tradition started at the Amsterdam Jubilee

A first ever occurred this year at the 41st annual Amsterdam Jubilee two amazing people DeAnna Johnson Hutton and Wesley Hubbard both Miami R-1 alumni received the first annual Trista Vail Community Volunteer Award.

The award was created by the family of Trista Vail who passed away in a car crash in February of this year as way to show appreciation for the ones who go above and beyond to help people during times of need in our community.

Boot Blocks, Chicken drop bingo, Go fund me pages or whatever it may be the recipients of this award truly cares about the community and the ones who are hurt the most during a tragedy.

We plan on making this a tradition every year at the Amsterdam Jubilee and awarding people for kindness and doing what small communities do during times of need.

Thank you DeAnna and Wesley for all your love and kindness that you have showed to the people in the community when they need it the most.

Congratulations to the 2017 Trista Vail Community Volunteer Award winners Wesley Hubbard and DeAnna Johnson Hutton!
