On September 7, 2017 a Bates County Sheriff's Deputy took a report of a burglary that had occurred on County Road 1501 in Adrian, MO. The property owners were working on building a house at this location.
Before they left the work site the night before they locked up their tools in a large storage container.
When they returned to the property the next day they found that the chain locking the gate to the property had been removed.
The padlock that secured the storage container had also been cut. Several tools had been stolen from the container. The value of the tools stolen is $7600.00
