Billy graduated from Appleton City High School. He moved to Sheldon about 20 years ago and was in the National Guard.
Survivors include two brothers, Jack Willis, Jr., Fort Scott, KS and Jerry Willis, Nevada, MO; three sisters, Chloe Mary Seelye, Amarillo, TX, Janice Murback, Sugarland, TX and Sherry Young, Taiwan; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Dustin Willis, Sheldon. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Willis, and step-father, Leo Bernard; mother, Ina Bernard; and brother, Brian Loron Willis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Sheldon Baptist Church, Sheldon MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.
