The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.

Darlene was born September 27, 1938 in Henry County, Missouri the daughter of Howard and Ethel (Foster) Martin. She enjoyed deer and arrowhead hunting, gardening, and doing arts and crafts. She was an animal lover, especially her collie dog, Max. Darlene was an excellent cook. She was a member of Shawnee Mound Presbyterian Church.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Ted of the home; one son Steven Austin of Chilhowee, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Alex and Sarah Austin.
