Power lines down in Hume

The Bates County Sheriff's Office is in route to a semi truck that has struck and knocked down power lines around the area south of A Highway between 3rd and 4th Street in Hume at this time.

The power company has been contacted as well as the Hume Fire Department and the Rich Hill Fire Department.

We are unsure of how many people in Hume is without power at this time.
