Dennis Bunger, a father, son, brother, and a friend to many was recently diagnosed with cancer. The doctors say it's treatable with early treatment but they kind of got pulled in the wrong direction with "affordable care act" and ended up uninsured this year.
But, cancer doesn't wait. The hospital radiation department requires $20k-40k "down" to BEGIN treatment with no insurance.
It takes time to sell stuff to get the money, but time is not on their side right now.
They can't delay treatment until "open enrollment" because it may be untreatable by then. We can't stand the thought of money being the only reason Dennis can't be treated.
He has been a small business owner for all of his adult life and a huge asset to the community. Treating people fairly and even doing work for a little or no pay for anyone who needed help."
