Vehicle Fire on I-49 in Harrisonville

Fire crews and emergency personnel are on scene of a vehicle fire in the Southbound Lanes of I-49 at Missouri 7 Highway at this time.

A small red car is on fire on the shoulder of the roadway at this time.

Please use caution if you must travel in this area and slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.

We are hearing that a two vehicle accident has just occurred in this area as a result of the car fire. Traffic is backed up and please find a different route!
