The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Honda driven by 46 year old James H. Johnson of Belton, Missouri was stopped to make a left hand turn into a private drive when he was struck by the 2015 Kia driven by 28 year old Patrick W. King of Cleveland, Missouri.
Mr. King sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Eckert's Tow.
