One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Oct. 8 in Henry County on Highway 7 at County Road NE 91.Romy Ravelo, 45, Clinton, wearing a seat belt, westbound in a 2006 Dodge Durango, swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, down an embankment and came to a rest in a creek bed.
Romy Ravelo experienced minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Golden Valley Hospital. His vehicle had extensive damage and was removed from the scene by Don’s Towing.
Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper M.G. Yendes investigated the accident and was assisted by Trooper T.R. Wright and the Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
