Any sensitive vegetation will need to be protected to avoid being damaged or killed. Incidentally, on average the normal first freeze occurs on 10/27...who says we're not normal?!?

Freeze Tonight
Well, it's going to be a blustery and chilly day by late October standards but hey, it's Friday! Expect highs today in the low to mid 40s which is 15 to 20 degrees below normal. That will set us up for our first freeze of the season tonight with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Some areas will experience a hard freeze tonight however, an area-wide hard freeze is expected tomorrow night with lows dropping into the mid to upper 20s for several hours.
