Kylr Yust now charged with two counts of murder in deaths of Kara Kopetsky and Jessica Runions

Kylr Yust has been charged with two cases of first degree murder in Cass County with connection of the deaths of Kara Kopetsky and Jessica Runions.

Their remains were found abandoned in a Cass County field earlier this year. Online Court documents show he’s also charged with two counts of abandonment of a corpse.

Mr. Yust was Kara's ex-boyfriend when she vanished from Belton High School in 2007. Jessica was last seen leaving a party with Yust - a year ago last month.

Kylr Yust has been held behind bars since last year charged with setting Jessica’s car on fire. He’s now being held on $1 Million bond.
