John grew up in Vernon County and lived and worked in California for a number of years. He brought his family to Nevada in 1976. He worked in trucking all his life until the late 1990’s and was a member of the Teamsters Union while in California. John enjoyed fishing and going to flea markets.
Survivors include his children, Cheryl Lechman, Nevada; John Millman, Jr. and his wife Kim, Whitehouse, TN; Henry Millman and his wife Doris, Moundville, MO; Timmy Millman and his wife Christy, Bronaugh; Michael Millman, Sr., Bronaugh; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother, Norman Millman, Destin, FL; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Beverly, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank Millman and Edward Millman.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Moore Cemetery, Nevada, with Dennis Painter officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.
