On October 16, 1945 she was united in marriage to Silas Walter Mistler in Gerard, KS and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2014.
Lorna grew up in Walker and attended Walker High School graduating with the Class of 1944. She was a homemaker who lived nearly all of her adult life in the Horton area. Lorna was a former member of the Timber Hill Community Club in Horton, and the Coal Creek Helping Hands Club. Her hobbies included sewing and tube painting.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Durham and her husband Bill, Blue Springs, MO, Lee Ann Mistler, Nevada; one son, Kevin Mistler of the home; two grandchildren, Brian Brewer and his wife Becky, Sibley, MO, Kristie Sanders and her husband Larry, Independence, MO; four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Johnathon, Logan, Kalyn; two great-great-grandchildren, Hallie, and Bristol.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Balltown Cemetery in Horton. Friends may call from Thursday until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada
