William Howard Preece, age 72, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at his home. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Chapel, Clinton, Missouri.

William was born in 1945 in Mohawk, West Virginia to John Wallace Preece and Opal Lillian (Cline) Preece. He worked as a butcher at Kroger's Grocery Store.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, of the home; children, Chris Masoner, Tony Masoner, Matthew Masoner, Jesse Hodge, Frank Hodge, Robert Masoner, Samantha Masoner, Christina Masoner, Kassie Hodge all of Clinton, Matt Preece, Joshua Preece and Kerri Ann Preece of Lancaster, Ohio, Billy Preece (Tara), Indiana, Jamie Dispena, Virginia, Adrian Ranson and Darrion Ranson of Clinton, and Owen Newman of Harrisonville; grandchildren, Aiden Lee Hodge, Andrew Tucker Hodge, Zachary Preece, Elizabeth Lydia Despena, Christian Preece, Amanda Preece; Jacob Preece, Camilia Preece, Aimee Azbell, Caspian Azbell, and Brandon Azbell; one great-grandchild, Ellie Dispena; three brothers, Jeff Preece of Summerfield, FL., Les Preece of Hurricane, W.VA., and James Preece of Cleveland, OH.; and two sisters, Barbara Sauchuk and Erma Hollendensk of Cleveland, OH.
William was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe Preece, and two sisters, Danielle Podlocken and Teresa Farley.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
