Public Service Announcement from Heather Diehl Farmers Insurance

As many of you may know, I strive with my agency to do as much "good" for my community as possible and I try to keep positive and inspirational quotes on my outside sign to hopefully "touch" someone who might need a little boost when they drive by. With our world like it is today, too often people only like to focus on or highlight the negative things in life and rarely does anyone take the time to praise the "good" things! So I wanted to share something that really touched me a few days ago.

At our office, Nicole and I had a few envelopes ready for the mail to pick up. Well, the darn blustery wind caught them! Our awesome MFA Oil driver that we see several times each day was filling up next door and he grabbed the two he saw and ran them into us. Well we were missing one envelope! So Nicole frantically took out walking down the street searching for the other envelope. Just as she was about to lose hope, along came Dominic Adam Smith on his motorcycle stopping beside her to ask her what she was looking for. She told him and he replied

"Let me see if I can find it" and he took off, pipes rumbling! Nicole was walking back into the office as Dominic Adam Smith pulled up to our door with "envelope in hand"!!

We just wanted to give a shout out to this kind man! He did not have to stop and help but CHOSE to! He owns Electric City Ink and is a true asset to our community! He donates his time and raises money for so many great causes here!

So our many thanks go out to both of these men for their amazing acts of kindness! You are appreciated!
