Cass County Sex Offender dies in Missouri Prison

At 2:42 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, offender Christopher Mysak #1280144, confined at South Central Correctional Center, was pronounced dead at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri.

Mr. Mysak was a 36-year-old male serving a 100-year-sentence for first-degree statutory rape, four counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, and two counts of incest from Cass County. 

Mr. Mysak was first received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on February 20, 2015. An autopsy will be conducted. The department does not suspect foul play was involved.
