The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when both vehicles were northbound on I-49 when the 2004 Dodge Dakota driven by 43 year old Heath B. Maxwell of Osceola, Missouri overtook and struck the rear of the 2008 Ford F-150 driven by 76 year old Donald F. Hill of Harrisonville, Missouri.
Mr. Hill sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
