The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Ford Escape driven by 76 year old Thomas F. Tucek of Lees Summit, Missouri ran a red light and struck the 1995 GMC Sierra driven by 38 year old Robert E. Lopez of Harrisonville, Missouri.
Mr. Lopez sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicle received extensive damages and the vehicles were towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow and J's Southland Tow.
