Hunting accident in rural Amsterdam

The Bates County Sheriff's Office along with Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amsterdam Fire Department and Bates County EMS on scene of a hunting accident at a address of 11769 NW CR 10001 in rural Amsterdam at this time.

A unknown male is said to have dropped his firearm and it discharged striking him. Life Flight Eagle has been called in to transported the man.
